Having Trouble with Your Silver Sips Video Call?
Video and sound glitches can happen to anyone. Here's how to troubleshoot common issues:
Check your device settings
- Make sure your camera and microphone are allowed for the app or browser you're using.
- On phones/tablets, go to Settings → Privacy → Camera/Microphone and ensure access is granted.
- On laptops, check your browser settings to confirm the app can use your camera and microphone.
Restart your device or app
Sometimes a quick restart fixes frozen video or missing audio.
Switch devices if needed
On phones or small screens, you may not see all participants at once—this is normal. Using a laptop often shows more participants.
Check your internet connection
- A weak or unstable connection can cause audio/video to cut in and out.
- Moving closer to Wi-Fi or using a wired connection can help.
Update your app or browser
Ensure you have the latest version of your web browser. You can usually update your browser by going to its settings menu and checking for updates.
Rejoin the call if problems persist
Leaving and re-entering the session often restores audio and video.
Remember: These issues are common in video calls and not specific to Silver Sips. If you're still having trouble, contact us at [email protected] with information and screenshots (if you can) about what's happening and we'll help you get back online.
